The Former US President is hospitalized

BIDDEFORD - May, 27, 2018

Former US President George H. Bush, 93, was hospitalized Sunday after an episode of "hypotension and fatigue," his spokesman said, adding that the White House tenant between 1989 and 1993 was "conscious and alert."

"Probably he will remain interned for several days under observation, the former president is conscious and alert, and does not feel any discomfort," he added.

The 41st president will likely remain at Southern Maine Health Care, in the state of Maine, under observation for a few days, McGrath wrote.

Bush, 93, spent more than a week at a Houston, Texas, hospital in late April and early May, immediately after the funeral of his beloved wife Barbara Bush.

George and Barbara Bush had six children, including George W., who was president for two terms between 2001 and 2009, and Jeb, the former governor of Florida who was a candidate in the 2016 Republican primary.

Bush Sr. is the oldest of the five living American presidents: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
